I’m summarizing four viewing areas in Uluru/Kata Tjuta National Park by means of google map and pictures I took during my visit. Hope it helps to plan your trip to the national park. Please note that photos all uploaded here were taken at the Mid-Sep.
Today was the last day of the 4-day travel in Uluru-Kata Tjuta. We opted to go for sunrise viewing at the lookout between Uluru and Kata-Tjuta. All scenes this morning were breathtaking and are unforgettable.
Today’s main venue was Kings Canyon which is approx. 300 km away from Ayers Rock Resort. Departing time from our hotel was at 5:20.
ULURU SUNRISE VIEWING AREA The time of sunrise today (17-Sep) was 6:40. We departed our room at 5:35 to get to Sunrise Viewing Area, which took approx. 30min. There was a little bit walk needed from a parking in the viewing area to the view point, so arriving earlier is recommended.
Photos below were taken during Yellow Water Cruise in Kakadu National Park. I do not write much here because those photos say everything.. Departure time 6:45 was before sunrise in August.
